I’ve already decided that if I pass this first year at University I’m going to get a tattoo, a daisy chain around my wrist, and if I pass the third and final year and obtain my degree I’m going to jump out of a plane, but I’ve been trying to find a suitable challenge for the end of my second year.
I’ve just decided what that challenge will be.
I’m a bit of a nervous driver, I’ve never actually let it stop me from going anywhere but if my destination is more than about an hour away then I’m more likely to take a train or plane.
This week I drove to Birmingham and back. It’s not a very long journey, about 110 miles each way, but I felt quite proud of myself for doing it and that in turn made me feel slightly ashamed. Proud of myself for driving 110 miles, that’s crazy isn’t it?
So, my end of year challenge for year two, if I pass, is to drive to Scotland and back.
Obviously I’ll have a bit of a holiday while I’m there, I’m not going to turn around and come straight back.
